Terms of Service

Last updated: 18 April 2026

Welcome to P2P ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using P2P (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

2. The Service

P2P is a non-custodial, peer-to-peer protocol that enables users to buy, sell, and spend USDC via local payment rails. P2P does not hold user funds. All USDC settlement occurs on the Base network; fiat movement occurs peer-to-peer between user and merchant.

3. Your Wallet & Keys

P2P provides an embedded wallet address. You are solely responsible for your private key, if exported. Loss of the key = loss of funds. P2P cannot recover lost keys.

4. Prohibited Activity

5. Fees

P2P protocol fees and merchant rates are shown before each transaction. You agree to the rate quoted at order creation time.

6. Disputes

Disputes are resolved via the on-chain dispute window. If unresolved, P2P's support team will mediate. Fraudulent disputes result in account termination.

7. Taxes

You are solely responsible for reporting and paying taxes in your jurisdiction. P2P provides downloadable transaction history but does not provide tax advice.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, or legal requirement.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is". P2P is not liable for losses due to smart contract bugs, user error, third-party failures, or network issues, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the British Virgin Islands. Disputes go to binding arbitration.
